ADHD Testing for Adults and Children in Mesa Arizona

Wondering if you or a loved one may be struggling with ADHD?

ADHD is so much more than just difficulty with focusing or sitting still.

ADHD affects our executive functioning and can negatively impact one's ability to socialize, do well in school or work, cause low self esteem and even cause difficulty with relationships.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is most commonly diagnosed during childhood, but for some, ADHD can begin or continue into adulthood. The biggest indicator of ADHD in both children and adults is a tendency to have trouble concentrating or paying attention.

QBCheck is an FDA cleared technological program designed to help aid in diagnosing ADHD in adults and children ages 6+, and Revival Psychiatry in Mesa, Arizona is proud to be revolutionizing ADHD care for residents of Scottsdale, Phoenix, Tempe, Chandler, Queen Creek, Paradise Valley, and Cave Creek, Arizona. It only takes 15-20 minutes and measures inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity. While there is no one test to diagnose ADHD, QB Check technology and an assessment by Erin Jones, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Owner of Revival Psychiatry in MESA, ARIZONA, can help aid in diagnosis and treatment of your ADHD.

What is Qb Test?

  • QbTest and QbCheck (telehealth) is an advanced  FDA cleared computer-based test that combines a test of attention ability with a movement analysis based on an infrared measurement system for diagnosis and treatment of ADHD.

  • Compares a patient to the age and gender normative group

  • Cleared for ages 6 to 60 years old

  • Requires just 15-20 minutes.

  • It measures the core symptoms associated with ADHD including hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattention/distractibility.

  • Both QbTest and QbCheck involve motion tracking systems and computerized tasks that requires continuous attention and impulse control. As a result, the tests provide data on all core signs of ADHD, that is, hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention. The tests can be used in children (6-12 years) and in adolescents/adults (12-60 years). The computerized tasks differ in cognitive demand between the child version (go-no go paradigm) and the adolescent/ adult version (unconditional identical pair paradigm).

  • Both Qb Test and Qb Check can be used in the initial assessment process. If an ADHD diagnosis is established, QbTest/Qb Check can be used to help measure the patient’s response to treatment, and aids Revival Psychiatry in achieving treatment optimization.

What is Qb Check?

  • QbCheck is an FDA/TGA cleared and CE marked online ADHD test that supports early identification, assessment and treatment of ADHD, for individuals aged 6-60 years old. It is a computer-based test that objectively measures the core signs of ADHD: Hyperactivity, Impulsivity and Inattention.

  • QbCheck combines a computer task with breakthrough facial recognition technology by use of a web camera. During the test an individual uses the spacebar to respond to targets and his or her motor activity is registered by the web camera. No images are captured during the test. The test will take either 15 or 20 min depending on the individual’s age, and it is advised to allow additional preparation time (e.g. set up, instructions, etc).

  • QbCheck is based on the same principle test structure as QbTest and therefore benefit from the same documentation as QbTest including peer-reviewed studies showing improvements in diagnostic precision, differential diagnosis and clinical outcomes when used in addition to other relevant clinical information.
